RECIPE: HERBAL TEA FOR RESPIRATION

‘BREATH EASY’

This Herbal Tea for Respiration is a wonderful mix for the time between seasons when our bodies naturally start to detoxify. This can be challenging when the is congestion in the chest and nasal passages, so gently inhale the steam as you are drinking your tea to get the full benefit.

GOOD FOR: Anxiety, Blood pressure, Blood sugar, Bronchitis, Cardiovascular health, Cholesterol, Congestion, Dental health, Digestion, Immunity, Liver, Respiration

PROPERTIES: Anti-bacterial, Anti-carcinogenic, Anti-depressant, Anti-inflammatory, Anti-oxidant, Detoxifier, Expectorant, Anti-viral

INGREDIENTS (by weight): Anise 2 parts, Bay 1 part, Black Pepper 1 part, Cinnamon 1 part, Eucalyptus 3 parts, Fennel 2 parts, Green tea 3 parts, Hibiscus 2 parts, Peppermint 3 parts, Thyme 2 parts.

TO USE: Heat 1 cup warm water with 1 tsp. respiration mix. Steep 5 minutes. Strain. You can add 1-2 tsp. raw natural honey, juice ½ lemon and 1 tbsp. olive oil for added benefit. Enjoy!
