POSITIVE STATEMENTS FOR BALANCES & AFFIRMATIONS

We have focused mainly on the physical aspects of wellness thus far, but all the good food and healthy practises in the world will be of limited benefit if you are embedded in emotions of fear, anger, and other feelings of disempowerment.

Connecting with the energetic, mental and emotional parts of yourself to bring them to balance will help the body restore itself back to vibrancy and wellbeing on an energetic level, at the same time you are working on the physical through nutrition and practises.

I initially created these balances to be used with Psyche K, but the following statements can be utilised within your own practise or with your wellness practitioner. You can treat them as affirmations, visualisations, prayers, in journey work, through meditation, or whatever practise feels appropriate to you. They are simply suggestions so please feel free to adjust them to suit yourself.

BASIC PROCESS

WORKING WITH STATEMENTS AND AFFIRMATIONS

1. AREA OF FOCUS

Determine what area of life you wish to work with. Here we are focusing on wellness but it may be relationships, business, social life, life purpose, whatever moves you!

2. CURRENT STATEMENTS

Write some statements that describe clearly and simply what your current negative experience is in the present tense.

Eg. ‘I am afraid of catching a disease.’

This is what Abraham Hicks would describe as ‘Contrast’. This is the clear state you don’t want that guides you to create the outcome you do want.

3. POSITIVE STATEMENTS

I like to create a positive statement of release from that before I move on.

E.g. ‘I release the fear of disease and illness.’

This might be something like ‘I trust my bodies innate ability to heal itself’, or

‘My body’s immune system is stronger than any pathogen, toxin or disease’, or

‘I am healthy, strong and vibrant in every cell of my body’, or whatever feels right for you.

Let’s use the example ‘I am healthy’ to create a full statement below.

4. EXTRA PHRASES

You might like to use the ‘Clarifying Phrases’ and ‘Insurance Phrases’ listed below to help fine tune the best statements for you.

For example,

‘I am healthy and vibrant’ is a nice thing to say to yourself, but if your deep rooted belief says it needs to stay hidden and sick to be well, it would be helpful to say

‘It is safe for me to be healthy and vibrant.’

5. PROCESS WORK

Use whatever your tool for process work is. You might use this as an affirmation, as a statement for art therapy, work on it with your kinesiologist, use it as a Psych-K balance, do a Theta healing on it as a program, or any other tool you might be familiar with.

6. CHEERS!

Have a little celebration to integrate the balance into your daily life. Give yourself a hug, have a dance, and see some suggestions below for ‘Blissful Action Ideas’.

CLARIFYING PHRASES

You can add these to statements or affirmations if they are not holding or feeling complete. For instance, ‘I communicate clearly’ – may not feel appropriate to balance on its own. But ‘It is SAFE to communicate clearly’, or ‘I know what it FEELS like to communicate clearly’ might be more effective.

In some modalities including Theta healing we use statements like this as part of the clarifying process when working with emotions, programs and beliefs. You might find them helpful too, in your own practise, or if you work with a coach, kinesiologist, Psych-K facilitator, transpersonal counsellor or similar.

It is safe for me to…I am ready to…
I want to…I deserve to…
I am allowed to…I know what it feels like to…
I know how to…I am committed to…

EG: ‘I deserve to and I’m ready to be healthy.’

INSURANCE PHRASES

I like to call this ‘spiritual insurance’ as it ensures you override any filters or subconscious bonds you might have with the statements for yourself or your client if you are working with someone else. At the end of the statement we add

‘Across times and between times’

‘For the highest good’

One or both of those might feel right for you to use some or all of the time.

EG: ‘I am healthy, across times and between times, for the highest good.’

CLOSING PHRASE

By giving thanks and stating it is done 3 times you are instructing the subconscious and the cosmos to work with you on this.

‘Thank you, it is done it is done it is done.’

EG: ‘I am ready to be healthy. Thank you, it is done it is done it is done.’

FULL STATEMENT WITH ALL ADDITIONS

‘I deserve to and I’m ready to be healthy, across times and between times, for the highest good. Thank you, it is done it is done it is done.’

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION IDEAS

Have a dance

Do a meditation

Listen to an uplifting song

Write a poem

Call someone and tell them you love them

Offer a random act of kindness to a stranger

AFFIRMATIONS TO USE IN BASIC PROCESS

PHYSICAL HEALTH

Every day in every way, I am becoming stronger and stronger, healthier and healthier, happier and happier, and more vibrant in each moment.

DESIRE
  • I want to be well and healthy on all levels
  • It is safe for me to be healthy
  • I am allowing in vibrancy, health and joy on all levels

SELF LOVE
  • I am committed to nourishing my body so that it can be well on all levels
  • I care about my health
  • My body is able to fully utilize the nutrients I feed it to cleanse, nourish and heal on all levels.
  • I listen to my body’s messages about what it needs
  • I intuitively know which are the optimum foods, supplements and medicines for my body.
  • My body is full of divine light and love on all levels, for the highest good.
HEALING
  • I trust my body’s innate capacity to heal itself on all levels
  • My body and immune system are stronger than any virus or pathogen
  • I choose to lovingly support my body to heal itself
  • Before taking any remedies to heal illness, I choose to remove any toxins from my life that may be doing damage
DETOXIFICATION
  • I allow my body to cleanse itself and allow the symptoms of detoxification to run their natural cycles
  • My immune system can safely and easily identify, neutralize and eliminate any harmful technologies, radiation, pathogens and medical treatments from my body.
PATTERNS
  • I release any negative patterns and behaviours that negatively affect my health
  • I choose to release any identity or attachment to suffering on all levels
  • My decision to be well on all levels overrides any fears or attachments to unease
EASE
  • Regardless of any discomfort I may feel, I am calm centred and balanced
  • I have and can utilise the inner tools to deal with discomfort on every level
  • I release any negative attachment or response to discomfort on any level

PERCEPTION AND GUIDANCE

  • I am able to listen to and trust my intuition
  • I trust in my intuition to and protect guide me.
  • My intuition guides me on how to take care of myself and my body
  • I am able to see my truth clearly
  • I am able to question everything I think I know, in order to find my own truth
  • I am able to create a clear picture of the world with my senses
  • I am in tune with non-physical aspects of my world for the highest good

PERSONAL POWER

KNOW THYSELF
  • I am fully in my power

  • I am clear on what I want to do and create in my life
  • It is safe for me to step fully into my highest power
  • I acknowledge that everything in my experience is a reflection of myself
  • I take full responsibility for my own behaviors, thoughts and emotions

  • I am fully aligned with my highest life purpose
  • The best thing I can do for the world is to be well on all levels.

  • I release any negative energy in my field that does not belong to me, for the highest good.
  • My field easily and naturally reflects back any toxic energy that may be directed at me.
  • My own frequency overrides any external frequency, on all levels, for the highest good.
  • I only allow divine loving energy into my field
  • My inner light, love and light override any negative external influences
  • I have the inner resources required to protect myself from any negative energy
  • Regardless of my circumstance or environment, I am calm, centered and balanced at all times.
  • I accept and adapt to change easily.

BALANCED EMOTIONS

FEAR
  • I release any feelings of unnecessary fear, for the highest good.
  • I know and understand that those who are trying to create fear are actually in fear themselves.
  • My own internal loving light is stronger than any external fear or darkness.
  • I choose to direct my energy away from fear and towards love.
  • I know that I am protected and divinely guided by God at all times.
ANGER
  • I have the tools to utilize my anger to activate the highest good.
  • I have healthy, lawful and productive outlets for my anger to be expressed.
  • I know and understand that everyone is in alignment with their soul covenant.
  • I know and understand that my greatest responsibility is to heal myself on all levels.
  • I choose to activate and energise all that is right and good in the world.

DAILY USE

I like to incorporate these balances into a daily routine alongside yoga and meditation. If, like me, you find the discipline somewhat challenging, you may find it helpful to add a 15-30 minute time slot into your daily wellness planner which we’ll talk about in the next chapter.

You might also like to keep a journal of the balances you do, and take note of any insights and shifts you may notice in your life which may have been affected by these affirmations.
